15Ml Home Perfume Oil- Oud Outshine
- Description
Agarwood, botanically known as Aquilaria Malaccensis, is native to the Assam region of India, but is now found throughout Southeast Asia. The wood chips of this tree are often burned as incense for religious ceremonies and various celebrations throughout Southeast Asia and the Middle East. When the wood resists infection from a parasitic mold called Phialophora Parasitica, it allows the tree to produce essential oils with a wonderful scent. It’s hard to believe! Agarwood is also nicknamed “liquid gold”. Due to its rarity, high demand, and difficulty in harvesting, it is one of the most expensive essential oils in the world. Agarwood has taken the Western perfume world by storm. But for the people of the East, it is something deeply rooted in their history and culture!
