An iconic Milanese brand proudly bearing the name of the famous artist Piero Fornassetti (1913–1988), who was a Renaissance figure and created over eleven thousand objects in an unmistakable style, full of fantasy and poetic humor during his life. He was a great painter and draftsman, an imaginative designer, and he also significantly influenced fashion. His legacy lives on thanks to reissues of his unique works and his iconic prints. Furniture and accessories made of metal, glass and porcelain are edited based on historical archives supervised by Piero's son Barnaby Fornassetti. The lacquered furniture is particularly impressive, which is produced in Milanese workshops using an original, time-consuming technique, when the lacquer is applied in eight layers. All objects are the result of careful hand-made production, all of Fornassetti's famous decors are hand-printed and colored. Each piece of furniture is signed, and in the case of rare pieces, numbered and dated.
